The Best Places in Provo to Zipline

Provo ziplines are some of the most fun in the nation, and each offers a distinct experience and gorgeous, scenic views. If you've never been ziplining, there’s not a better place to start than with a Provo zipline adventure!

Adventure Zipline Utah/Max Zipline/Provo Canyon Adventures

Nestled in the Wasatch Mountains, this 5-zipline tour takes you above the canopy in full view of Mt. Timpanogos and the famous Provo River. There’s a short walk between each of the ziplines, nothing very strenuous, and the incredible views of the mountains, river, and wildlife are well worth it! The staff is excellent (you’ll have two guides for your adventure), and this is a great course for beginners. The company also offers horseback rides, stand-up paddleboarding down the Provo river, and ATV Ranger tours. Tour time is approximately one hour.

High Country Adventure’s Sundance Zipline

If you’re a real thrill seeker, this is probably the course for you. If you do all five spans (you can also choose to do three), the course is two miles long, and you’ll be reaching speeds of about 65 mph! This course also has a total vertical drop of 2,100 feet, the most of any zipline in the US. One other unique thing about this course is the parallel ziplines, so you can zip along next to your friend! It’s neat to experience this side-by-side. The company also offers rafting and kayaking. Tour time is approximately 2-3 hours, depending on the tour.

CLAS Ropes Course

This zip-tour has six ziplines along and across the Provo River. Along the way, there are different challenges to participate in (such as a bean bag toss while zipping to each platform)! And this does not have to be a strictly ziplining experience! If you have a large group and are looking to do some bonding, there’s no better way to do that than at this ropes course! With team-building games, a low ropes course (with balancing challenges), and a high ropes course, they can meet the needs of any group! The high ropes course has a 400 ft. zipline, as well as a climbing wall and a giant swing!

Tips Before You Enjoy a Provo Zipline Adventure

  • Make your reservation in advance! The tours will do their best to be accommodating, but reservations are the way to go. Along those lines, be on time, as your tour may not be able to wait for you.

  • Dress appropriately. Consider that the mountains may be cooler than the town, and keep in mind that they will operate during the rain as well. Wear close-toed shoes (don’t want those sandals falling off your feet!) and pants or shorts (not skirts!). Layering might be a good idea.

  • Tip your guide!

  • Check out the other adventures these companies have to offer and enjoy spending a beautiful day outdoors.
